We were hungry this afternoon for a quick snack, and Mexican food sounded like the ticket. Jeff had never been into Maria Selma, and Pam had only been there for happy hour, so it was a good opportunity to try something new.
As seems to be a theme for us, we took a place at the bar and o ordered two margaritas and an order of guacamole. The margaritas were good, even above average. The guacamole was fresh, and chunky with just a little kick. Again, better than average but not outstanding.
Next we ordered the Tacos al Pastor which had tender marinaded pork with pineapple, onion and cilantro. The tacos were very good with flavorful tender pork.
The staff was friendly and attentive.
This is a great place to grab a margarita with friends and enjoy some good food. Is it the best in town? No. It is a nice place with good food and margaritas. Give it a shot and grab a table on the porch while the weather is nice.
