Mockingbird Bistro – CLOSED

Date Visited:  Saturday, March 16, 2013

We started the meal with Mussels.  They were well cooked with tomato, garlic and red curry in a lemongrass / coconut milk broth.  Overall we loved the mussels and how they came together with the curry.

Pam ordered the Scottish Wild Salmon.  The salmon was flavorful and perfectly cooked.  It was served with a green asparagus souffle, jumbo lump crab, burst baby heirloom tomatoes and a champagne beurre blanc.

Jeff ordered the Grilled Tuna with wasabi pomme puree, shimeji mushrooms, sweet peppers, jumbo shrimp tempura and a miso glaze.  Overall the tuna was prepared perfectly, and the puree / miso glaze added dimensions of flavor.

When you go, request the balcony table overlooking the main level.  It is a great place for a romantic dinner, as well as people watching!
